Amboseli is situated 250 Km from Nairobi at the foot of the highest mountain in Africa (Mt. Kilimanjaro), which is viewed well when in this park. It is a home of all the Maasai people and mostly known or Elephants. There are different other animals like Lions, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Waterbucks and more than 400 species of birds. It is also home of flamingos due to underground waters from the mountain.
